CarePossible’s mission is to provide free mental health and addiction care to veterans and low income families.

Military Families

At no other time in our country’s history have our brave soldiers been exposed to more stress and trauma. Currently there are 20 military suicides every day in America. This is totally unacceptable. At CarePossible we love and honor our soldiers. And we want to ensure that all military families get they need for any addiction or mental health issue. Our treatment will provide excellent, and totally confidential, treatment to military members-active duty or veterans, and their family members.

Mental Health

According to the National Institute of Mental Health 46% of the US adults will experience a diagnosable mental health issue in their lifetime including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and many others. Our goal is to ensure that care is possible for everyone. Our team of treatment professionals includes psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and counselors who are passionate about providing the best care possible.

Addiction

Drug and alcohol abuse and addiction are at epidemic proportions. In-fact, according to the center for disease control 190 people die from drug overdoses every day in the US. When addiction and drug/alcohol abuse impact a family lives are turned upside down. Dreams die and people die. If you or a loved one struggles with any type of addiction, we want to help! We have an amazing team of highly trained experts in the field of addiction and recovery that can provide the hope and healing you need.

Education

Part of our mission at CarePossible is to educate the general public about mental health and addiction issues in order to increase awareness, remove stigma, and prevent overdoses and suicide. We do this through community events, social media campaigns, radio public service announcements and partnering with schools, cities and other organizations. CarePossible was named “Best of Mental Health” from USC due to our social media awareness campaigns.

Military Families

At no other time in history have our brave men and women in the military been exposed to so much stress and trauma. We regularly have soldiers serving three,
four, even five or more deployments in the Middle East. This is stressful for them as well as their family members.

There are approximately 20 military suicides every day in America. 300,000 Iraq/Afghan vets suffer from PTSD. The VA has a backlog of claims for over 600,000
vets. 76% of homeless vets have either a drug or alcohol problem or other mental health problem.

At CarePossible we have a great passion to provide expedient and confidential care and treatment for our military and their family members, including both active
duty and veterans. The confidential nature of our treatment ensures that there will be no consequence to one’s military career.

Mental Health

The need for quality mental health care has never been greater. Look at these recent statistics about the current state of mental health issues in the United States:

  • According to the National Institute of Mental Health 46.4% of the US adult population will experience a diagnosable mental health disorder in their lifetime.
  • Approximately 10% of the US population, over 30 million Americans, currently suffer from depression.
  • 60-80% of those 30 million could be successfully treated.
  • The number of depression diagnoses increases 20% each year.
  • 31% of college students felt so depressed they found it hard to function.
  • People with mental health issues have double the health costs of healthy individuals.
  • Untreated depression can lead to suicide. There will be three suicides in our country during the course of today’s service.
  • The suicide rate in the US is double the homicide rate.
  • Marijuana is number 3 of the top 5 substances which account for admissions to drug treatment facilities in the US. The THC content of today’s marijuana is approximately 20 times that of marijuana from a few decades ago.
  • 98% of government funds spent in the so-called war on drugs are spent on incarceration and law enforcement. Only 2% goes to treatment and prevention. This is backwards!
  • Improper Use of Prescription Drugs Costs $200 Billion a Year
  • 27% of 10th graders drank in the last 30 days.
  • There are now more prescription drug overdose deaths each year in the US than there are auto accident deaths. It is an epidemic.

It is clear that addiction is a huge issue that impacts everyone. At CarePossible we are laser focused on fighting addiction and overdose through access to quality treatment and community education.

It is the goal of CarePossible to reduce these statistics by providing the highest quality mental health care for individuals and families that cannot afford it, as well as military families. Our amazing team of highly trained and highly respected individuals will determine the best course of treatment for our clients, and then provide treatment in a professional and confidential setting.

Addiction

Drug and alcohol abuse is truly an epidemic in the United States. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) says that drug overdose rates in the US have more than tripled since 1990. Just look at some of these shocking statistics:

  • According to the CDC 192 people die from drug overdoses every day in the United States.
  • According to the National Institute of Health abuse of tobacco, alcohol, and illicit drugs is costly to our Nation, exacting over $740 billion annually in costs related to crime, lost work productivity and healthcare.
  • According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse In 2013, an estimated 24.6 million Americans aged 12 or older—or 9.4 percent of the population—had used an illicit drug or abused a psychotherapeutic medication (such as a pain reliever, stimulant, or tranquilizer) in the past month. This is up from 8.3 percent in 2002. The increase mostly reflects a recent rise in the use of marijuana, the most used illicit drug.
  • An estimated 25% of kids under the age of 18 are exposed to family alcohol abuse or dependence.
  • Every day in the US 2,500 youth (12-17) abuse a prescription pain reliever for the first time.

It is clear that addiction is a huge issue that impacts everyone. At CarePossible we are laser focused on fighting addiction and overdose through quality treatment and community education.
